Final Pictures Assignment 2 with Final Statement
In this image I used my morning light to capture unique shadows. I wanted the viewer to have another perspective of the shadow. It allows room for imagination involving posture.
People liked that I included the real foot because your eye travels between the flip flop and shadow. They seemed to enjoy the movement I created in this photograph because your eyes travel back and forth.
In this image I want to create the feeling of how music from an acoustic guitar is soft and beautiful. I also wanted to create a sense of serenity when you look this photo. I am not looking at the camera but I am looking at my guitar and tuner. I didn't want the viewer to feel that I was looking at them.
People like the softness of the photo as well as the lighting. The way I photographed this gave the feeling of country acoustic possibly alternative music.
In this photo I used an electric guitar to change the theme from softness to hard and daring. I played with the sharpening because I wanted to portray the idea of music coming from an electric guitar you feel and its a harder sound. I changed my hair because I am ready to rock.
Some people agreed that the sharpening image created a heavy metal field. Others thought maybe it was too much sharpening.
I was basically trying silhouettes in this photo I had never really done this type of photography and I was experimenting. I actually enjoyed this I was very happy with my result. In the actual scene I was still wearing my headphones listening to playback. I also appreciate the way I really work with the lighting the small details.
People really like this they said they could see my outline and the contrast was really well. They weren't sure what I was doing but appreciated the entire picture.
